Engagement Pics

My wedding is in April, but I want to take my e-pics with my photographer this summer or fall. Do you think it is too soon, or should I wait until it is closer to the wedding?

I think you can go whenever you want. I booked my photographer in August of 2001 (getting married July 2003) and I am having my engagement photo taken next week. I would have taken it much sooner, but FH wanted to wait. I think the decision is totally up to you.
