Hi, I'm getting my engagement pics done this Saturday. They are included in our package (I think they might be part of everyone's photography package). I know you are supposed to tip the photographer on the day of our wedding but do we tip him for engagement pics too? And if so, about how much? It's for about 45 minutes.
Also, how do you dress? Do you bring more than one thing to change into? All I know is that he's bringing us to a beach for all the pics. What would you wear????

That is a very good question. I was rather stuck on that myself. I had a friend who got her pics done at the beach and she wore a pretty flowy dress and he wore kahkies and a solid color polo. My photographer told me to go solid in colors with no prints. If you are at the beach can you change outfits???

I think tipping on the day of the wedding will suffice for all services.
I would dress casual and comfortable. You could bring a sweater to throw on through the pictures to change it up a little.

Ok thanks! I wasn't sure how this all worked. I tried looking through engagement pics posted on here but I wasn't sure if there situation was the same. I guess I'll wear one thing and maybe bring something to throw on over it-to change things up!
And you said, no tipping? I think it might be a different photographer than the one we are getting on our wedding day. Does that matter?

if you are using a different photographer than the one on your wedding day then yes tip
