engagement pics on the beach?

ok so i need advice...

i want my e-pics on the beach....BUTTTTT i ALSO want my e-pics done before my e-party (to make a sign in thing with our fave pic)

heres the catch....my e-party is March 22...this means i would be taking the pics on the beach in winter

has anyone done this?? someone said it would be good cuz the beach will be empty, nobody getting in our photos, and some nice isolated pics...

HOWEVER, i wanna know if anyone has done this so i can really know if its bearable???? i don't want to get pneumonia!!! LOL

Last year I want to take our epics on the beach before our engagement party also and our party was in April 08........FH & I went with our photographer to Jones Beach in the middle of March and OMG.......IT was freezing! FH said 'Hell no! Let's go home....My health is more important than these pictures.'
It's still cold......Don't do it

We got them done in late October, not yet winter, but still cold! But I wore a sweater and a shirt underneath. The whole thing took about an hour, and the pictures came out great.
I wouldn't do it on a 20 degree day though :)
