How long before your wedding did you or are you taking your engagement pictures? My photographer said like August / September for us, but doesn't that seem late?
Just curious

Since you are my date twin, I figured i'd tell you what my photog said about them lol he said we could pretty much do them whenever we wanted, but he really thinks it would be really nice to do them maybe early winter, or right after the first dusting of snow. To give the pics a really nice look. We could be all bundled up and playing in the snow kinda thing. But then he said we could have even waited until the spring when It got warmer so we could go down to the beach or a park or something. I wouldnt wait until the end of next summer though! That sounds a little silly...you could use the engagement pics for other things too

I thought it seemed a little late, maybe I'll talk to him about doing them in April / May instead. . .did you decide when you are going to do them?
