For the past two attempts it has rained on our engagement picture date so we had to reschedule. We have another appointment scheduled for tomorrow and it looks like rain in the morning. Last time this happened our photographer cancelled because the place where we are doing our pictures is all dirt and would have been muddy. I am concerned it is going to be rescheduled again. It is so frustrating because I have hair and make up appointments scheduled again and don't want to cancel at the last minute. The weather is just totally not on our side with this.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a weather-friendly engagement shoot location? I am thinking maybe we need a plan b this time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where are you guys having your pictures taken? FH and I went through some what the same thing but we never cancelled. It down poured right before our pics were suppose to be taken and was humid and hazy afterwards. Pics posted in my albumn. Some how it all worked out. Tomorrow is not suppose to be a total wash out but a hit or miss with showers.

Prospect park in Brooklyn. I swear to you, it downpoured 5-10 minutes before we were suppose to take pics. We ran into a lounge bar and waited for our photographer. He saw the look on my face and said let's start taking pics now and wait for the sun to come out. We actually had some nice pics there too. Thank you = )

I am not really familar with Long Island but you never know, the rain may really hold off for you guys to get your shoot done. Would you be able to just go with the flow and should it rain maybe get a funky umbrella and some cool rain boots. You would really be able to get some fun, nice cute pics with it. Also try to think of places that you can take outside as well as inside. I would also ask the photographer. He might be able to recommend some places as well.

Oh I am fine to do them in the rain! The photographer isn't. I guess she just wants to get the best images possible for us.

I think the rain boots and umbrella is adorable! Your photographer will so whatever you tell then basically, so if you're ok with the rain I would just let then know you can't reschedule again and that you're fine with the weather.

Really? Usually when the weather is rainy the soon-to-be-brides cancel. My photographer was so surprised that I didn't cancel. I would speak with them again and tell them you are game for rain or shine weather
