Engagement Pictures

Hey everyone!

In a few days, FH and I are taking our engagement pictures at a local beach and boardwalk.

Does anyone have any recommendations?
I have no clue about these things...

What should we wear, or what did you wear

Did you wear the same colors?

Should I get my hair cut before this?

Any other advice!?

I think casual would be fine. Jeans, capri's maybe a cute top.

But they said that FH and I could wear the same color...

I just thought maybe they said that because it would photograph better...

We wore complimenting colors - these are our two e-pics (my avatar and then in my profile) and we were casual.

since you are going to the beach i would do white and tan or denim and white or black top...the background will accent your outfits! can't wait to see picts when you are done!

i'm going to be wearing an outfit of a skirt and shirt (casual tho) or a little sun dress (we are taking them in june)... and he is going to wear probably a black polo and either a nice pair of jeans or chaki pants... we are wearing complimenting colors as well...

as for your hair, i'm not getting mine cut b/c i don't want it to look that different but i am getting it blown out and i scheduled my m/u trial that day so that way i can get some use out of it b/c it is costing a lot--my photographer said the nice make-up will help make me come out nice in the pics-- so i'm excited!!

yeah for me the m/u was just a 'coincidence' thing that i could schedule for the same day so it's not a total waste.... but the hair was the important thing b/c it comes out so nice and it's not too $$.

My brother is a photographer and he says that you should wear the same colors. It just comes out nice.

I just got home from eyebrows - saturday its nails and hair!
