I'm not sure if we're getting them - we didn't book a photographer yet, so once we book one we can see what they offer

for alot of photographers they include it in their package, ours is included, we dont have to pay extra for it

Mine are scheduled for Arpil 5th


We are framing an image for the house, and using them for the e-party invites and for the wedding reception (signature mat, place card table etc.)

ours are included though I haven't scheduled to have them taken you.

Probably cause I'm still unsure of where I want to go!

Just think of what will match your and FH's personality best. I thought about this too, and like i had said before, we really are not beach or nature ppl lol, and all the pics of city scenery and all that i absolutely love and think that is more us. For you it might be the beach, you can wear like a very light casual dress, i love seeing these white type dresses of girls on the beach. Or maybe you want it by a lake with trees and all that...Or how about a garden to take it at.

We're getting them done because they're included in our package. It's a great way to start becoming familiar with your photographer and his shooting style and maybe finding poses that you'd want to recreate for your wedding album.

We're hoping to find one pick we love and recreate it with a mosaic of all the pics we've taken throughout our relationship and have guests sign it at the reception.

this is probably going to sound weird but i really really want to take them in or around a library.


That's where FH first met when we worked together but the NYC public library requires permits and stuff that's just too much of a hassel and the library where we met is ugly. (and I don't know managers anymore so they probably wouldn't let us do it anyways)

awwww that is such a cute idea actually and will have alot of significance for you and FH...have you ever been to the new york public library, it is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! infact alot of people even have their wedding there and i saw pics and its really beautiful...try calling them up and seeing if you can do it. You would get beautiful pictures in there, the ceilings and everything is so nice

oh we could do it without a doubt. But the charge you and you have to sign for permits and wait for the city to approve you. You have to basically submit this whole long application and explain to them why you want to take pictures there and they read it and decide if they think your reason is good enough

awww that ***** i am sorry...Hmmm i wonder if certain libraries would have free permits, bc i know you have to get a permit to do it in central park but i think its free though. Maybe you can try calling them up, explain to them why it means so much to you and ask them whats the quickest and easiest way to go about this. I mean if its something you really want then you should do it, and i think the pics would be real cute, i dont think its weird at all...Hopefully it will be easy *keeps fingers crossed* some libraries are different bc they dont do things like this but with the new york public library theyre used to it, people do weddings and alot of events there...Other places there like HUH we never do this, and probably dont even know how to really deal with it thats why...Good luck

an 07 bride here

I took e-pics because i wanted some nice formal and professional pics of us while we were engaged....also I wanted a nice pic to blow up to display in a nice frame at the reception hall

check out my epics in my album...i loved them and we also used the for our STD magnets

they were a hit!!!
