I am taking my engagement pictures today. What is a good amount to tip? TIA

GOOD LUCK let us know how they turn out!! i just realized i didnt write about the tip part!!! i didnt tip my photographer...bc its not the same person doing my wedding...and it was done in studio r urs being done outside?

we had someone we know do them (who is also a pro photog, but not the same one we will have at the wedding). He only charged us 100 bucks for the whole thing, so we gave him 75 extra. I don't know if that helps though

If the person owns their own studio than I don't think you need to tip because he/she is getting all that money anyway. If not, than I would give a 10-15% tip (so if it's $300 for the e-pics than a $30-$45 tip)
Our friend who is a photographer did our e-pics as an engagement present to us, but we gave her a $100 giftcard to B&H Photo in NYC as a thank you.

My photographer is going to be the same person doing my wedding and it is being done at their studio.
I am using Patken too!

ohh kk hmm...yea they just gave me anyone i acutally didnt knw till i walked in lol i mean i love them so either way lol...hmm ah tricky i didnt think of tipping at the time maybe i should have ahh
