Engagement Pictures

When are you ladies doing you engagement pictures? are you using the same photographer for the wedding?

Sorry - I thought this was Brides Helping Brides - so I'm crashing

It's the same photographer as the wedding. We're doing ours in February - we didn't need them for anything specifically, so we're doing it a bit closer to the wedding for fun.

My mother has been hounding us to take Engagement Pictures. We'll set a date once we book our Photographer.

Our photographer does a free engagement shoot so we will be do it when we book in a couple of months

Our enggement pictures are also included in our package. We are taking them January 26th!

I have a photo/video appt in Feb and if we book with them the engagement shoot comes with the package... I am thinking of shooting in in Early May

Do most photographers include the complimentary engagement shoot?

Any unique ideas where to take the pictures other than the city (which i probably will end up doing) and the beach...i love both just want something different and i am not creative at all!!!

I wouldn't say 'complimetary' because they charge so much to begin with it's probably just 'included' in the cost

I know Duet, Thomas Paul and Patken include them in their packages...

As far as ideas... hmmmm, I want to get them done on the beach but there could be some other creative places... I've seen pics done at the Railroad, Coney Island, a library...
