Engagement Present Dilemma
My future MIL keeps asking my FH and I what we want for an engagement present. I defer to him, but he keeps telling her he doesn't know. Here is our problem - what the heck do we say??? They already offered to pay for our rehearsal dinner - whew - and that was more than I expected. I think the last time we all spoke she offered to send money and he told her we could always use that. We could, but I feel like that is kind of callous of us. However, I do not want to ask for something becuase I am not sure if they are talking a bottle of wine or a couch! Any suggestions. Thanks, Becky
