Engagement Ring

I actually had my ring made by a vendor within the diamond district. His sister in-law is my co-worker so I knew he was reputable and not going anywhere. He is really good and can help you with any budget if needed. He kept telling us that if we ever wanted to upgrade, it was doable without having to remake a new ring.
If you want I can give you his contact information.
I am pretty sure you can just upgrade the stone. When my FI got my ring he was told that at anytime he could upgrade the stone.
Just had to laugh because I just saw your post on theknot.com under local areas and remembered reading your post here! I wish I had an answer for you, but I do think it would be no problem. I have never delt with the diamond district. My FH's father is a jewler though, and that's where he buys all his stones (actually my diamond came from there), but I never personally delt with them. Good luck!

He is really nice and will help you in anything you need on your ring-upgrades, cleaning, certifications. He also will do wedding rings. We are actually getting ours made by him.
If you need anything else my e-mail is [email protected].
We bought my ring in the Diamond Dist and where we bought it he said as long as you keep your reciept that I could get the full amount we paid on an upgrade. I think most of them there do it. Does he still have the reciept? Think you might need that otherewise you might not get the full value of the ring.
