I think I am going to put it on my right hand during the ceremony and then switch it to my left hand after the wedding.

On the right hand for me too. That's where it will stay after the wedding. My wedding band can't be worn with my e-ring.

Re: Engagement Ring.....
I wonder if I can just leave it on my left hand for the ceremony. Has anyone heard of this?

Some people do that and then just switch the rings around after the ceremony.

I'm going to have to do this as well. My right hand is bigger then my left. My e-ring doesn't fit my right hand.

Why do they get switched? Is there supposed to be a specific order? I am so clueless!!! :)

Re: Engagement Ring.....
I'm wearing mine during the ceremony and switching after (can't wear on my right hand, because it won't fit!). Your wedding band is supposed to be the one closest to your heart.
*edited to fix typo

Re: Engagement Ring.....
The wedding band traditionally should go on first on your left ring finger to be closest to your heart. (since your heart is on the left side of your chest)
My right hand is also bigger then my left but my ering should fit on my pinky (being that I'm expecting my hands to be a litltle swollen for stress that day) I think I'm going to wear it on my right pinky and switch it over onto my left ring finger after the ceremony.
I can force it onto my right ring finger but I'm not sure I will be able to that day, I expect it to be swollen due to nerves and stress.... Do you ladies think it's okay to wear it on my right pinky??
