Engagement Ring at Ceremony.....w/ Poll

What do you do with your engagement ring during the ceremony....it seems like such a simple thing, but i have no clue!!!

I'm pretty sure right before the ceremony I'll put it on my right hand and then just move it back after.

i wore it on nmy left hand ....he just put the wedding band on the same finger

I took mine off and gave it to my sister to hold and then I put it back on after the ceremony.

I realized as we were standing up there in the begining of the ceremony that i forgot to switch it.

Me and DH were holding hands and i had to let go of his hand and pull it off and switch fingers, i then joined hands with him lol.

i am happy when i took pics earlier that it was on my left hand.

DH had it in the pocket of his tux...he gave it back to me after the ceremony

ok so i just tried it on my right hand...it fit...and then i almost freaked out when i couldn't get it off...that might not be a good option for me...LOL

i think i'm gonna try to put it on my right hand during the ceremony. That is, if i remember. I want it on my left for all the pictures I'm having taken beforehand (of me getting ready with the girls & such), so we'll see. But that's the plan.

Ok so I totally meant to put it on my right hand....and I realized when I got to the end of the aisle and was sitting in my seat at the front of the church that I hadn't done it! Of course my hands were all sweaty and hot so I was struggling to get my E-ring off while sitting there and trying not to have anyone notice haha....eventually I got it

FH and I went over the ceremony last night, and we talked about our minister doing something like this. If you can send me the wording that would be great!
