i picked FH but it was kinda a joint effort at least on the 'real one' he picked out the first one a aqua marine that i love and still wear every day too but on my right hand

We did it together. I told him what kind of cut I wanted and then I picked out the setting.... But I never saw my center stone until the day he proposed.

both.....we went shopping and we picked something out together, but it wasnt until a year later we got engaged.....he took elements of rings we saw that we liked and he had a custom ring made.

I chose FH but it was really a joint effort. We went ring shopping first but it was a total surprise because he asked my parents two months prior to the engagement, I thought it was never gonna happen lol.

I showed FH pics of what I wanted. My mom actually got it made by our family jeweler a year before FH proposed (without me knowing) because the jeweler was terminally ill. He passed away before FH proposed

I had no idea. He had it designed for me because I wanted a antique setting. I wanted a round stone but to have four prongs and no side stones- well he got the side stones 3 on each side ,but now that I have it I am not complaining. I really was so suprised and happy with it-He made me a ring even nicer than the one I thought I wanted ha ha.

I had only told him that I love emerald cut stones......he did the rest, and he did GOOD!!!

I am very picky so FH knew to bring me. We picked everything together from the diamond to the side stones and the setting and had it custom.

It was a joint effort. We went together and I picked out a bunch I liked and then we tried them all on. When we decided we just both happened to like the same one!

FH picked it out. The only thing I told him was that I wanted a princess cut center stone. He did a great job!

FH picked it out - and it was 100% a shock - he must have listened to me 2 years ago and took great notes because it was exactly how i told him i would love it

He picked...did it all on his own...knew what i didnt like and what i did like although my dream ring was : (FH said the diamond is too small its more of an anniversary present...grr)
