for any of you girls whose ring was a lil too big, what did you have done to make it fit? some say ring guards, some say 'shots' are put on the ring. I dont know what to do. helpppp

i was told to get the balls but when i took my ring to our jeweler where the ring was bought and who we have a good relationship with, they said it was big enough to cut and make smaller. they made it perfect- fitting but able to spin so during the summer or when im bloated (arghhhh) it still fits fine i say talk to the professionals to see what they say- every situation will be different

When FH proposed my ring was a size too big. So I had it resized and in the winter I sometimes put in a Claire's snuggy. In the summer, it's perfect (sometimes it feels a bit uncomfortable).
I'd recommend the snuggies to anyone but especially anyone who just got engaged. Obviously if the ring is a size too big, have it resized. But if it's 1/4 of a size too big, I would wear it for a whole year to see how it feels in the summer.. I got engaged in February, and when I sized it down, I kept thinking that maybe I should have gone down 1 and 1/2 sizes. Once the summer came around, I realized that I almost wouldn't even be able to wear it had I sized it down even more.

i had them put 2 tiny balls in it.. Hmmm.....that sounds awkward??!!
anyways....they told me to do this so when im prego they can take them out so i can still wear my ring!!

I got mine resized. I had it resized over the winter, so when they did it, they sized it 1/4' size bigger than my finger was to account for summer swelling. It was perfect over the summer.

I had to have mine resized it was a whole size larger :) and it's still a little loose but it's okay
