engagement ring to the gym?

Out of curiosity, do you girls where your engagement rings when you go to the gym? I don't go enough to check out if other women where them.

i mean i can't say i have been to the gym since getting engaged, but I woudl think it would depend on what im doing....going for the treadmill then yes....going to do something where i may bang it then no

the only time i take it off is to get it cleaned...advice from my mom, everytime i take it off is a chance for it to get lost or misplaced or pushed off a ledge....its a good habit to get in, i think. even though i do have it insured...it is a sentimental thing....having it replaced would not be the same!

I felt like a complete fat *** because I was there on Friday and the geriatrics on the eliptical were going at a faster pace than me and I was on level 1 and gasping for air. My ego was severely altered.

That was me when I used to go to the gym! Everytime I went to the gym, I always felt like such a fat *** compared to everyone else.

I never wear my engagement ring to the gym! I do cardiovascular, weight training, and boxing with my trainer. I'm not taking any chances. I have noticed other women wearing simple bands with no diamonds.

I do. My gym is a total pick-up joint, and I feel like when I wear it, annoying guys don't think they can come up to me anymore and tell me lame jokes, etc. Back off, boys, she's taken!!

I wear it when I teach classes, but I don't wear it when I bartend. I put it on a string around my neck. I have small silver ring as a sub on my finger for those times. But yeah...its a DIAMOND- if its insured I would say go for it! It depends on what your doing though....if your just doing cardio then yeah absolutely. but if your going to be doing some lifting and strength training you may want to leave it at home. Just so it dosen't get damaged or annoy u
