did any of you get an engagement session with your wedding package? was it worth it? this session is normally extra? Just wondering if it is worth it or not. Thanks!

Most photographers I visited included that in the package. I think it was worth it - we used one of the photos on our save the date magnet.

I did. I think most do. Even though I have been engaged a year and still have not gotten them done. I think its a good idea because you get to know your photographer. Also, I am going to get them framed and put them around the RH. Some ppl also use them for the Save The Dates.

we got it, but have not yet taken the photos...we're having the photo shoot on May 24.
We decided to get the package because all of our 'together' photos are taken by non-pros and it shows...they're nice, but not quite great.
plus, it'll be a nice way to get to know the photographer a bit better before the wedding.

I would negotiate with the photographer to have then throw in a free e-shoot. It was well worth it

Most photographers include that in the price. I am doing it and can't wait to see how it come out.

its good if you don't have pro pics of you and your fh...it's also a good way to get comfortable with your photographer before the big day or to test one out etc.
if its in your budget...doooo it

our photographer included it in the package but I traded it for a second photographer.

we also got it with our pkg- but have not had time to go and get it done- i was thinking of using them as our table number when we finally do get them done-
