engagement settings

can anyone suggest a good website or store to shop for engagement ring settings at?? ive already been to the smithhaven mall and have had no luck

-- This was my sister posting, she and her boyfriend are going to pick up a diamond from New Jersey tomorrow, but she cannot find any settings she likes. If you girls can post your fave jewelry store it would be a great help.

You are better off going to a small jewelery store instead of a chain store in the mall. Alot of the little shops have ALOT of books of settings you can look thru. Chain stores really only offer a couple.

My FAVORITE is Dorothy's Fine jewelry in Sayville. She is really great and has such quality stuff. We've bought sooo much from there.

Bluenile.com and adiamondisforever.com are great sites for looking at settings and playing around with different styles

Fortunoff is great too- they have a huge selection of engagement rings and I believe they have settings without diamonds in them.

I agree or I know there is a place in Garden City as well. I forget the name but I know my brother went there and designed the setting for the engagment ring for his wife. The ring is awesome!

If you go to the tricounty flea market in levittown the upstairs floor is full of different jewlery vendors. Many of them have a lot of different settings there. Good luck.
