Engagement shoot locations in Nassau/Suffolk?

Hi ladies! We are getting our engagement shoot done probably sometime in November in either Nassau or Suffolk- looking for ideas for somewhere outdoors preferably not with a site fee! I liked Bayard Cutting Arboretum but it has a fee. Has anyone used any locations they loved? We originally wanted something nautical in feel but may be too cold out for the beach by then!

If you're looking for nautical, definitely check out Northport Harbor. No site fee, it's a public area, but there's so many different options there. You have the harbor with the boats (there may still be a few at that time still there), the adorable town with so much charm and original trolley tracks still in place, and the park with plenty of trees and a big gazebo. Beautiful beautiful spot. FH and I spend almost every weekend down there and were gonna take our pics there, but we're not really boat people so I didn't want pics in front of boats. Instead we took them at Brookwood Hall in East Islip. Cute little park with a small pond/lake (FH fight over which all the time) and they came out great. Pics in my album.

Were using Gerry park in Roslyn! We haven't done ours yet, but we have seen shots done there and love it!! Were so excited and there are no fees for that spot. Enjoy!

We got ours done at West Meadow beach in Setauket. It is beautiful and quiet. Down the road there is a this awesome green barn and it looked awesome in pics (check out my album if you want to see it) And no site fee!

Port Jeff has some great scenery by the docks! Sunken Meadow is one of my favorite places for scenic views and it has such a variety! Beach, boardwalk, woodsy trails, small bridges, beautiful ponds.. I bet this time of year its even prettier! There is a fee for the park, but not all year round so maybe in November it would be free!

We did Long Beach and though it can be a little cold in November, you can get some amazing sunsets. We did ours in September. I have some pics in my album.

Thanks!! Looking at all of your albums gives me such good ideas! Actually looking forward to it now instead of stressing haha. My fiance is not from Long Island so it's completely up to me to find a great spot!

We did ours at the Cedarmere in Roslyn Harbor, I am not from long Island so I don't know where that is exactly. but it was beautiful there was no site fee and we had the grounds all to our selves. I have photos in my album if you would like to see.
