Engagement shoot tonight

So we get an 8x10 engagement shot in our package at Gray Studios and its tonight.

What should I wear?? Originally I was going to wear the outfit I wore the night we got engaged. BUT that was a skirt and FH was in a suit... Im gunna feel stupid walking in there looking so formal!

What do you all suggest I wear?!?!? Jeans & a nice top?

you can make it as formal or informal as you like. a skirt won't look stupid as long as your FH isn't in ripped jeans!!! the two of you need to decide whether you should both be formal or informal. we both wore jeans and sweaters.

Usually couples have more casual looking photos & I think It'll be nice if you two get dressed up if that's what you want to do.

I would go with jeans and a nice solid colored shirt or sweater. JMO

You can always dress up jeans, but if formal is what you both want then go for it. Whatever you feel most comfortable in.

You can do a skirt w/ a nice top, and he can do trousers w/ a button up, or just do the jean and nice shirt route.
Just remember to stay away from Reds, and white (photography purposes).

Whatever you feel more comfortable in maybe khakis or jeans they might want you to lay down in the grass and get shots like that so it might be a pain to do in a skirt.Good luck and i cant wait to see pics

where are they taking the pics? if your outside, i would say a sweater and jeans so your not too cold and dont have to wear a jacket...

Whatever u guys feel most comfortabl in! Make sure ur color scheme matches though

I would go with nice jeans and a cute top. You want to be comfortable and sometimes a dress won't allow you to be in poses that are nontraditional and funky . Good luck and post pics when you can!

you def. want to go with a casual look! this is supposed to be about capturing you guys acting natural and being in love.

wear jeans and a thin knit sweater.
def. dont wear a bulky turtle neck!
