So the lady at the photographer told us when we booked back in May to call her in Aug to book our engagement shoot. So I call and I find out they only do shoots during the week. She's like oh no he has weddings every weekend. The latest they can do it is at 6 so I told her I have work. She's like well you can't make it here in time after telling her 2x NO lol I work a hour an half away. So she tells me well don't take off work for this. I had planned in my head I would get my hair and makeup done before hand. I'm not going to get pictures done after work all day when I look like crap so either way now I'm stuck taking off. She has the worst phone manner ever and rushed me off the phone telling me oh well talk it over with your fiancee and get back to me. This is included in the package I got so I want them done. Now I call her back with available dates and get the answering machine.

Grrr who's the photographer? They should have told you that upfront bc most only do e-pics during the week

That is ridiculous. If they only do them during the week then they should at least accommodate you and do it ate like 7 or 8. That way you would only have to take a 1/2 day off work and could still get hair done

Boo, that stinks, sorry!!!! I know my photog company only does it on Tues, Wed, or Thurs. but they told me that right away at the first meeting.

I just spoke with her and I'm doing it on a Tues in Oct. I'm going to have to take the entire day off. Oh well. Still would have liked to been informed beforehand.
To tell you the truth I would kind of expect that they wouldn't be available on weekends. But they shouls have told you that in the beginning...

check your contract mine listed when an epic shoot can be. Hardly any photographer does them on the weekends/

Doesn't sound so professional...and things should be in writing or at least vocalized up front. Sometimes they are so eager to close the deal, they will say anything. Although many photogs avoid ePics on wknds...they happily oblige if they don't have a wedding booked.
