We just signed with our photographer today which is REALLY exciting because this was a hard decision for us!!! However, I made the mistake of not thoroughly reading through the package fine print beforehand and I'm only now realizing that the engagement shoot included is only 1 location/outfit. I had really hoped to do 2 locations, and that's still an option but for an extra $200 -- its not that much money in the grand scheme, but we're already paying over budget for this photographer so I don't know if I want to add more on top.

For your engagement shoot, how many location did you have/did you feel like it was enough?

We are taking ours at CW post, so there are a few places on campus we can go. Could you think of doing something like that or DUMBO where its just natural to walk around?

We only did one location, but we just walked around. There was a beach area, an old barn, and the woods. It was more than enough for us.

Did you clarify what one 'location' is? For example, would walking around Central Park (for example) but more than 1 location? I never thought of this but our photographer actually suggested several outfit changes. We are doing 'normal' pictures first but changing into running clothes and then cycling clothes.

Thanks, everyone! I haven't checked with her yet about what 'one location' means. I was just initially surprised as we had wanted to do somewhere outdoors for one location and then head to a bar to do some indoor shots (we got to know each other and all of our current friends through hanging out at this one bar, so we wanted to do some nice shots there). I'm hoping I can think of one 'location' that might have different places within -- but especially some kind of bar if we can't go to 'our' bar! Any suggestions??

@Jsabbatino -- thank you!!! :) We went with Katie Osgood. She's a Brooklyn photographer because I really wanted someone different and loved that Brooklynish artsy style. I always wished I had lived in Brooklyn lol

I think if you find the right place you can make it work. We only went to Coney Island. they have the rides and stuff but also a beach so we took pics at both spots and got a nice variety

I just posted out a second ago on here and we did one location (and it looks like 3) and only one outfit !!! I couldn't be happier either!

This is awesome! When are you taking yours? I was thinking of changing into running clothes, but everyone I told this to looked at me like I had 4 heads. Maybe you will inspire me :)
