Engagment Parties and Kids?????? HELP!

Engagment Parties and Kids?????? HELP!

Hi All-
Just wondering if you had an e-party and if children were invited or are going to be invited.

I am not inviting kids to my wedding and I don't want to invite them to my engagment part...love kids and all (I am a teacher!) BUT not at my party/wedding.

My mother thought we were inviting kids...HELP!

If we do this we turn a e-party of 100 to 120 (or more) +

I don't want that!!

I had an e-party and kids were invited. We didnt have a lot but they were fine. Many of them are not invited to the wedding, but I didnt want to have to ask people to get baby sitters for both the weding and e-party.

I don't really have many little kids in the family... I have cousing ranging from 10-15 and FH has a niece and nephew, both 4 who are going to be FG and RB, so they're all going to be invited. Also one of my BM's has a daughter (6yo) who will be invited

We invited kids to our engagement party, and they are invited to our wedding. Sorry I couldn't help ya. I think parties are a lot more fun when there are kids dancing on the dance floor, you know doing those goofy things they do.
