Does anyone know a good place to have an engagement party in western suffolk or nassau for about 50 people and 5 children. We are looking for something that isn't too bad in price with good food. If you do know of any places do you know about how much per person or a total price?

Well, it's not in Nassau, but it's not far from it...how about Caffe on the Green in Bayside? They have great food. When we had originally checked it out for a wedding they were saying $85pp so it's GOT to be less than that!

Try Millerage Inn in Westbury. I know they have an upstairs for parties. I have no idea how much it would cost pp, but we had a party up there about 20 years ago for one of my grandparents' anniversaries. (lol, man I'm old)

I had my engagement party at La Piazza in Merrick. Most people know it as a pizzeria, but they have a nice room that is seperate. They have valet parking, seperate entrance. It holds 80 people and you can choose which package youd like.. I got a package that was 50$ but then i paid 15$ extra a person for the alcohol..
Food was great-italian food..service was excellent!

Our was at **** & Dora's in Massapequa, very nice, on the water and great food. not sure of the pricing but i would have to guess around $45-50pp
