engagment photos tipping

Do you have to tip the photographer when you get your engagement photos done?

The owner of the studio is doing mine so no I am not tipping he is getting all my money hands down already LOL

if it's someone that works for a studio than I would give them a tip only because that money is not all going to them. If the person taking the pics is the owner of the studio, than you don't need to tip them.

I am actaully paying extra to go to dumbo so i am already giving them 175 to go all the way to brooklyn. the owner is my photographer. also the videogropher comes on the shoot bc he takes some video to add on the end of the montage at the wedding. so should i tip that guy and if i tip him how do i not tip the photographer.

How much do you typically tip, if you plan to do so? I am glad someone asked this because it never crossed my mind!

I wouldn't tip if you are already paying to go to DUMBO. If you feel the need, I would throw the videographer $20 if you think he's actually doing a lot of work. If he takes a 5 second clip then I say no deal.
