So today in day two of my wedding planning I am going with FH to pick out an engagemnt ring. (When he proposed he had a beautiful diamond in a tissue in a bag, very haphazard, very him... to this day he says he is lucky that he didnt throw out the tissue) He did this so I could pick out the setting myself.
So now here is my question, I have my heart set on this BEAUTIFUL Tacori setting, but I am not sure if my center stone is going to fit. I have contacted many vendors and tacori themselves and they don't seem to know the answer to my question. Below is a picture of the setting what size center stone would fit. I looked at the picture in sized scale and then my center stone and it doesnt look like it works lol.
I just want to know if i need a backup rings idea. Any girls with tacori rings have any advice?
what about bringing this picture to a jeweler and have them custom design something like this so your diamond will fit perfectly! if you need a jeweler recc, i have a GREAT one!

I'm not sure about Tacori - but I am pretty much sure that settings come in different sizes to fit different size and shape stones

hey sweetie.. my ring is tacori.. my FH got the setting seperate from the diamond.. he picked out diamond first ofcoarse.. got the specs.. and then sent them to tacori so they can customize the setting to fit the stone.. He almost had heart failure cause he spent all this money on a setting and it was nonrefundable cause its custom made to fit you.. so when he went to jeweler to set the stone to the setting it almost didnt fit!! lol. my FH and dad were freaking out.. but thankfully we had an amazing jeweler who got it to fit and It was perfect!! just make sure your specs are accurate!! I absolutely lov my ring and get toonns of compliments on the setting.. tacori is just amazing!!! def go for it!!:)

FH went to our jeweler with a drawing of a ring and they made it perfectly!!!
Let me know if u want the name of the jeweler. He's down in China town and him and his wife are the nicest!!!!!!!!!!

FH did this for mine too in the diamond district. and he got to add special touches too (like i wanted two-tone, so i also have a little bit of yellow gold with the platinum setting)
