English couple getting married at City Hall in April 2002

Hi my name is Kelly. My boyfriend & I are coming to New York from England in April 2002 to get married at City Hall. Does anyone know how the wedding ceremony works at City Hall. We would also like web-sites or e-mail addresses of any reasonable wedding photographers. As there will only be the two of us we don't need anything too fancy. Thanks Kelly

I would contact City Hall directly for instructions on what paperwork you will need. I am not sure what the license requirements are. Also, make sure that you do not need additional paperwork in England to make the marriage legal. Most photographers do full day weddings on the weekends. You can try Mark Kauffman studios (in Pt. Jefferson) He is great but a bit expensive. If he does not do weddings at City Hall I am sure he can direct you to some photographers who do.

I married an Englishman and his entire family flew out from England for a weekend in September. We were married on Long Island and now live in the city. If you need any help, let me know! I would love to offer any help I could. Especially because you are so long distance and I know how difficult it can be. PS-Ignore the post from 'Yvette'. It's all a bit fruity.`
