Engraving Ering?

my wedding band has diamonds in it so i'd have like a centimeter of space to engrave anything, but i love the sentimental value of it, so i was thinking about engraving my ering band instead.

fh got my ering in the city so we wont have a chance to have the same guy do it.

i'm nervous about bringing my ring to a random jeweler and having them engrave it.... i dno is it possible to mess anything up? fh has a plain stainless steel band so we're not concerned about his too much.

Thoughts? Am I just being overly paranoid??

I got my ering engraved at the diamond district afterwards and they did it on the spot. No biggie

We're doing the same w/ wedding bands.
