Engraving Ring?

Any ideas what I should put inside FH's ring? I want something short, but very nice. We don't have a special song or phrase or saying or anything like that, but I want it to be more than just our wedding date.

That's good. I was thinking 'forever' and our wedding date. Something along those lines, but looking for more ideas

DH's ring is engraved with 'My Favorite Everything'. The mahogany jewelry box that he got me for my 25th birthday has a silver plate engraved with the same phrase.

Once when we were dating, he proudly told me that I was his favorite. I looked at him and asked 'your favorite what?' and his response was 'My favorite everything'. Usually at night when we are laying in bed, after the 'I Love You's' one of us will say 'you're my favorite everything'. It's completely stupid BUT it was his way of telling me he loved me before he got up the nerve so it's special to us.

Maybe you could think of something sweet between the two of you that you'd like to remember and engrave that.

Do you have a nickname for him? I put the nickname I have for DH on his ring along with our wedding day.
He engraved the word 'PERFECT' in my ring because I used to ask him jokingly, 'why do you want to marry ME?' and he would always answer, 'because you are PERFECT'.

We just each put our wedding date in ours. We were going to put a nickname but there wasn't enough room in mine since the diamonds go 2/3 around so we just went with the dates. I love it.
