If anyone is doing this, what are you having engraved? My ring is a size 4, so the jeweler doesn''t think there''s room for much more than the date, but I want his name or something. Any suggestions? Thanks!
We just did initials and date..you might be able to fit a.b. & c.d. plus the date!
I am, and am not sure if we put our initials and the date, would I put my maiden name or his last name initial?
I put my maiden name initials even though I changed my name afterwards -- I figured that's who I was when I married him, and that's how the invites and marriage license, etc. say it so...
I think I DO is a great idea -- or even just a word...like 'Always' or something. To me, the initials and date just seemed traditional.
In mine is says JB 7-5-02 and his says Forever & Ever, Amen (from the randy travis song)
Mine is a diamond band and very thin but they were able to do it.. lol, but it is 'J' then the 18Kt symbol then 'B' but hey they fit it in! For his that song was the first song he dedicated to me back in the day so I thought it was fitting
