Ok i love my catering hall... well i love the food - when you drive up to the smithtown landing it is not that 'WOW' but inside the rooms ARE. So i was thinking - when you pull up its like a circle you drive around a gazebo - i wanted to buy like beautiful trees from michaels with lights on them and line the outer area of the circle - does this make sense??? im looking for a picture of where i am talking about but cant find one - what does everyone think?
What about asking if you could put lights on the gazebo?

That sounds like a nice idea with the trees. Our RH isn't very nice from outside but inside is a completely different story.

Depending on the time of year I can't say I love the outside of our hall either. I like it MUCH MUCH more when the trees are all filled in!!!!

lol, I feel the same way about my RH... I think I'm going to go up there the day before my wedding with a scrub brush and cleaner and clean the back of the building and some other areas where dirt was showing.. and maybe I'll plant some plants too... lol

Thats true but you know what when people pull up i dont want them to be like - is she kidding?? so at michaels they have them for like $39.99 with those 40% off coupons its like $24 - id get 10 of them.... my mom says i should return them after i use them but i dont know how i feel about that. The rooms are gorgeous so theres no need to spruce anything up in them!!!!

i know exactly what your talking about...i've been to smithtown landing for soooo many events...i think that would look beautiful, they might even set everything up for you. but i would call and ask if that is possible first, they may not let you put stuff on their property.
