I have been working w/ Elsa to design a custom wedding band. They're great...but I hate EVERYTHING with my ring....
I tried on a band like the one pictured here today...well, two, one on each side of my ring. It was eternity style though...it actually looked nice....can anyone help me find a thing band like this but princess cut? they can make it for me but it's sooooooooooo expensive. I'm thinking if I go this route I can find it cheaper on my own....
I also loved a pave band w/ milgrain finish but that would mean altering my e-ring which I'm not okay with...
I hate wedding ring shopping...

I have a round centerstone with a split shank (with pave diamonds) setting....I also have pave diamonds on the sides of the band...no band will look good with my ring but i have come to terms with wearing a wedding ring on my other hand....are you set on wearing your rings together???

now I'm pissed....they've only made me stuff I hate and today they even said 'it's obvious you just don't like your engagement ring'...TWICE.....I'm flipping out.......
WOW.. I would have lost it right there.. how rude.. after all you chose them to do something for you and they say something like that?

they are open Tues...I'm going to have FH take care of it...we're going to go shopping tomorrow...
we went once, they drew a pic and made us leave a deposit (FH did it, I wasn't ready)...2nd visit we made the wax...I kept saying I didn't like it.....they said lets put diamonds in it.....so they ordered them despite me not loving it and we went back today to see it, i said i hated it and then we spent forever looking at other bands....all while they said i don't like my ering, i should change my ering, or i should wear it on my right hand..........

It's clear they're just trying to sell you their design. Make sure FH gets his money back because you are not satisfied with the work they've been doing so far. They were the ones that made the decisions not you! If you want, I can check with FH where he got my ering. I know it's not far from Elsas. It's on 110 somewhere.

I have faith in FH...we're going to look tomorrow...I have more of an open mind after all of this. I just want my ring to be symbolic of 'us' and fit 'us'...I'll find it...I have faith! (just not at elsa's!)

Colleen, I'm not sure if they have princess cut ones but the place I got my E-ring and my band from had a lot of rings similar to the one you posted.
i have a really thin band on my E-ring so finding a wedding band was a hard search. I don't know if you remember how upset i was getting but i almost gave up hope... and then BAM there it was right in front of me one day and it was something i didn't like in the case but loved once i tried it on.
don't give up hope. I know your perfect ring is out there somewhere.
Can you talk to Elsa about maybe transferring the amount you paid to someone else? Maybe one of the girls here plans on using them and they can pay you what you're out and they can use your credit? I don't know... it's just a thought.

what does your ering look like?
I have a princess cut center stone, then there is a princess cut on each side of that (a step up from the band level) , then at the level of the band, there are 3 princess on each side....
what about a prong set wedding band..so the diamonds are somewhat raised..that would look nice!
