FI wants something 'fun' during cocktail hour. Like a magician to walk around and do some tricks (nothing big and spectacular...just working the crowd). I dunno. Your thoughts? Anyone been to a wedding where they had some type of entertainment? It would have to be very low key for me to agree....lol...
I just wanted a cigar roller towards the end of the night, but he nayed that one...

Re: Entertainment during CH??
We didn't really have anything that I would consider 'entertainment' but, we had 2 violinists outside and a piano player inside...the piano player was great - at one point i heard him playing bohemian rhapsody...and then all sorts of fun songs...i expected him to play low key stuff, but was very happy that it wasnt!!

imho i would steer clear of a magician or something like that...might make it more like a bday party!

Re: Entertainment during CH??
My dad hired a steel drum player for our CH. My family is Jamaican and we chose some Caribbean food options so it kind of fit. Was it necessary...no, no one would have noticed if there wasn't one but it was a nice choice. I say go w/ music, the magician might be distracting.

Re: Entertainment during CH??
We had a steel drum band and they were great. I wouldn't have a magician, it's not necessary during Ch. People will want to eat, drink and talk with each other, not watch a magician. JMHO

Thanks! I agree too! We spoke about it last night and he meant have someone 'act like a guest' and just joke with people as he walks around....not do a whole staged show. Yeeeah...I think no. lol...
