I spoke to my DJ the other day and asked for suggestions for a bridal party entrance song and for one for me and my fiance. I was told that they usually use techno songs so they are not screaming over the words of the song. I am not a techno person so I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. What songs are you using for your bridal party entrance and for your entrance with your new hubby??? Please help.

We are coming into a song called Flower Duet. The original song is an opera song. It was in meet the parents. Not that it helps you, but you want a really upbeat song with an amazing beat to get people movin!!

The DJ I am using told me that we can use a song with vocals and remove the vocals so that its just the beat. His work is all digital so I don't now how your Dj works. Maybe he can do that for you.

I had wanted the intro to 'Bitter Sweet Symphony' by the Verve. My dj company wanted to do the techno version, I didn't want the techno version. The wedding came and they played the techno version. We were very disappointed.

someone else suggested to use the austin powers theme song...which i think we're gonna do casue both my FH and I love that idea! But is it ok to use the same song for the BP and us or to we need to different ones??

listen to 'Children' by Robert Miles...
There are no words....and even though it is a clubby song,,it isnt HARD CORE techno..

I LOVE the theme song from St. Elmo's Fire!! Check it out if you have not heard it. My friend used it as an entrance song in 1992, but I think it is still a beautiful song!

They should be able to delete the vocals of any song you and your FH like. We're doing the beginning of Walk This Way (the Run DMC/Aerosmith version).
ETS: the above is for the BP entrance.
The parents are walking into These Are the Days and we're walking into It Takes Two by Rob Bass.
