Is anyone just doing 1 entrance song? My DJ sent me a list of songs people have used in the past with him and one of them was my absolute favorite song and I wanted it right away and I planned on only using one song. I kind of want the intros to be short and sweet. Then this weekend one of my BMs was like, 'Oh it's so nice when you guys have your own song' and now I'm not sure. In the past, I thought the song gets played only for a short time and then it cuts right to your first dance, or am I wrong? The song I'm using is not one we would really dance to otherwise I think.

We are using a seperate song to have us introduced. You are right though, it will be a matter of like 20 seconds b/c they play through the applause and all that and then I do think it goes straight to the first dance.

We are doing one song for the entire bridal party & us to enter. It's long enough and works out perfectly! We will be introduced and then it'll go into our first dance song.

We used three songs actually. One for the parents/grandparents (a general like pump up the crowd song), a metal song for the bridal party, and then Hulk Hogan's theme song for us.
My husband was in charge of this and he picked the metal song for the bridal party and then decided he didn't want his 75 year old mom to walk out to it.
It's all personal preference. Do what you want, it's your wedding! Everyone will be so excited to see you they probably won't even notice the song to be honest.

We are using just 1 song.. I have a small bridal party and it won't be that many people being introduced.

Were going with mostly classic rock songs and some are just not appropriate for mom and dad. Lol. So the parents will have one song, our ridiculously huge bridal party will have another and then FH and I will have our own. Haven't nailed down our choices yet though.
