Is there a thread that has suggestions to songs that the DJ can play for reception entrances for the BP, parents etc.... ?

we did starry eyed surprise by paul okenfold (sp) and i looooved it. it was dance-ish but not overly so and the words were appropriate b/c he says we'll dance to the dj all night long and that was all i wanted people to do.

We are using this song too (For the bridal Party)

For the parent intos, we are using 'You're my first, my last my everything', by Barry White

I'm going to use for BP and me and FH...U2 It's a Beautiful Day....saw it done at a wedding and it was awesome - I totally had the chills! They play the really pumped up part when the bride and groom entered.

I LOVE THAT IDEA!!!!!!

I want 'Let's get Loud' by J Lo for the BP and I think maybe 'Finally' (don't know who sings it) for me and FH. We've been dating almost 11 years so it's fitting.

I was thinking the BP walking in to Crazy in love and me and my fh (husband by then) ahhh walking into 'My love is your love' That reminds me of when we were younger and first started dating.

We are going to walk in with the starwars Throne room song, FH played it and it is a really nice song, just have to look pass the star wars part
Bp we are not sure yet, I read wakling on sunshine that sounds like a fun song

I think I am going to have my BP walk out to 'One More Time' from Daft Punk

And FH and I are walking out to 'Holiday' from Green Day

We used to be clubbers which is part of how we met so we decided to go with a house song, 'Alright' from Red Carpet.

Walking into that song was such a rush!
