entrance songs

i know there is an official thread, but i feel like thats really old.. :)

what songs is everyone using for their entrances? i mean, bridal party, parents, etc?

we used:

parents...the intro to 'you're beautiful' by james blunt

bridal party...'walk this way' by run dmc/aerosmith

me and DH...'my first my last my everything' by barry white.

The only definite that have so far is going to be 'Simply the Best' from Tina Turner for the parents.

did you check out the section under planning where there are various song list? I can't suggest my own b/c we havn't gotten there yet... We're still deciding on the venue.

We used 'Knights of Cydonia' by Muse

It's a new song and very dramatic... not sure if you meant you wanted newer songs or newer ideas by you saying the other list was old...

We used Peek-a-Boo by Soixsie & the Banshees for the BP entrance

Bridal party recession:

Mix of Jay z / Freeway 'Flipside' song - picked by DH and it was a HIT!!!!!

Funny, I was thinking of using this and Welcome to the Jungle by Guns N' Roses. I really would like something that shows what type of music I am into. FH's sister used The Final Countdown by Europe and Crazy Train by Ozzy. I would love to use those but it is bad enough that I am having my reception at the same hall that she had hers at.

Can anyone else recommend something similar to the songs above?
