entrance songs

FH and I are having a disagreement. Should the bridal party intro song have lyrics or not? Im not sure if the lyrics will be lost or mess up the song when the DJ says the names

We had lyrics. If there are certain lyrics you would want for the enterances to be heard...talk to your DJ/Band and see if you can work something out with them.

The song we're using for our BM entrance has lyrics - as well as any songs I've ever entered into as a BM.

ours had lyrics but it was 'lyrical' in that the singing was what carried it. It was upbeat and the DJ was able to speak the names clearly without butchering the song. It was 'September' by Earth, Wind and Fire.

Ours won't have lyrics, but that is because the bridal party is walking into For WHom the Bell Tolls by Metallica.....music is great but the lyrics aren't exactly wedding!

Same with our song.....we are walking in to the beginning of Shipping Up to Boston by Dropkick Murphy's!

I have walked in to many songs with lyrics, though.....you will be fine either way!

Haven't picked out those songs yet... but it doesn't really matter to me if there is lyrics or not.

I am doing lyrics for my wedding party, but no lyrics when FH and I enter. We are entering to 'Angry Young Man' by Billy Joel. The song has an awesome intro and we both LOVE Billy!
