What is everyone using to put your wedding gift envelopes in? I've seem many people using those pretty white boxes with a slit on top. But I've been looking around and they cost around $50. Really don't want to spent that much on a box that I will never use again. Any ideas on cheaper alternatives?

Or if you don't want to make one you can get the wire birdcage from Michael's and use a coupon..I think they are about 30 but you get a coupon for 40% off

Re: Envelope collection box
You can also go into one-stop wedding shops or specialty (wedding stores) and rent the envelope boxes. I believe I saw one for rental price of $35 or so I belive @ the Sweet Nut Hut in Deer Park. Hope this helps.

Re: Envelope collection box
I am using the traditional bag only because my sister/MOH and my FH's aunt both said no to getting a box or birdcage [since it is their wedding LOL]
No big deal just have to find a family member to hold the bag for me.

Re: Envelope collection box
we are using a mailbox- I figured we can use it after we get married
I'm actually using a tree trunk. I having a fall theme and thought a tree trunk would be different. My neighbor took down a tree in his yard and let me have a piece of the trunk. FH is going to slice the top, hollow out the insides and hinge the top back on. We will saw a slit on the top. I'm going to place fake leaves around it base and have a lil bride helping a lil groom climb on top.

Oh I love this! What a great idea! How did you get the picture frame on there. What kind of glue did you use?
