hi girls,

question - if i am sending an invite to an unmarried couple , which way is correct??


Ms. Jane Smith and Mr. John Doe

or

Mr. John Doe and Ms. Jane Smith

please help??? i know it's a stupid question... but i don't know for unmarried couples if the guy should go first or the girl should go first....

when DH and I were dating, we were invited to my friend's wedding. They put my name first since I was the one who they were 'really' inviting.

So, that's the way I did it for my guests

If we knew the female, we put her name first. If we knew the male, we put his name first

Put the person you know best's name first...but they don't go on the same line.

So if you know the male best,

Mr. John Doe
Ms. Jane Smith

Smithville, NY 11111
