eparty colors

so, My eparty is on 7/26 and i'm way behind with lots of stuff. We are having it at my sister's house. She has a really nice backyard and great swimming pool. So we're making it a real casual party. (we told people to bring their bathing suits on the invite, if they want to).

I'm trying to decide on decorations. Should i do the standard white and silver wedding decorations or should i hurry up and choose a color for my BM dresses and use that color.

I really need to get out to the bridal boutiques for my dress and the BM dresses. It seems that it's holding me back from doing other things. Cause now the only stuff i have left to do requires me to know the color of my BP

My E-party is 7/12 and I'm not using my wedding colors. I chose Yellow and slate grey. I saw these colors on a inspiration board and I just loved the way it looked. I knew I didn't want it for my wedding so I decided to use it for my E-party. Pics of my invites are in my album.

I love blue and coral together... I wish I could have another party to use those colors in!!!!!!!!!!

You're invites are really pretty! So maybe i can go with some color even though it won't be my BP color. I really didnt wanna just do the standard white/silver. It's too boring for me. I like bright colors

you don't have to have the same colors for both your e-party and your wedding. but with that said, you should keep on the hunt for your BP dresses and your own. One of my regrets was that I didn't do a long enough search for dresses. I love the dress I chose for myself and that for my girls, but I didn't really get to do a full on search that a lot of people do (I feel like i missed out on a lot of the fun).

So, my advice would be don't stress over the e-party, go with the white/silver theme and save the major stressing/planning for the real deal (i.e., your wedding)!

why dint you do a summer/hawaiian thems.. since you will using the pool.

we arent using our wedding colors. we are usinf red, white ans silver. we are doing a holiday theme since that is when we got engaged. our party is on 7/12 too!!

Our e-party was in December- so we did a holiday theme...well red & silver, since I didn't want a christmas party!

But my wedding colors are indigo & silver, with touches of lavendar.

I think you can do whatever you'd like. Plus it's a casual outdoor party- have fun with it!
