THANKS EVERYONE!!! For those of you who commented and asked questions thanks We had a great time!!

The party was at East Rockaway Firehouse on Main St. (good call jerry's girl!). IT really was a afun place to have a party. They have a nice big bar in the back of the dance floor....that definately got some mileage. We had an Irish singer named Ed Ryan come and perform and he was really great!. HE played a good mix of classic rock and irish tunes, plus he had some funny originals and was telling jokes. It was def a better idea for us than a DJ...we're not really dance music people...we're more sinatra and beatles people...

I made chocolate martinis and rimmed them with choc syrup and hersheys cocoa and peach sangria from scratch...both were big hits...we had other stuff there too..

The claddagh rings were a total surprise...my FFIL- who payed for the whole party- gave them to us as gift and since our priest was invited to the party, he blessed them for us...it was really great!

THE DRESS!!! I got soooo many compliments on...it was JEssica McClintock and it wasn't really that expensive...I did a chocolate and roses theme for vday (fancy way of saying brown and pink ) and i matched...LOL So did FH I have more pics coming up of the little DIYs but mostly I made choc lollipops whichwere a PITA!!!! and little thingys of Jordan Almonds (5 in each one). And we gave out the wine charms for all the adults as favors and little boxes of Russel Stover chocs for the kids (day after vday clearance baby!!!)

OH YEAH!! We did the polaroid guest book idea and it was a HUGE hit!!!! I highly recommend it...its also a nice thing to have at the end when all is said and done...
