are we supposed to have a card box at the eparty...im going to make one in my theme (tiffanys blue) but what is the rules for this.

we didnt have one we had an extra table and it turned into a gift table and then we made FHs mom in charge of holding all the envelopes

I just decorated a small basket and left it on the gift table...nothing too fancy.

I was wondering the same thing. Does having a gift box make it seem that you are expecting them [even though you might be]?

i dont want people to feel obligated to give us gifts...if they do, ill be more than grateful..but if they dont, they dont

i think its up to you......traditionally your supposed to give money at an e-party to help the couple pay for the wedding....but with regitrys more people buy gives now......so you can either just let people hand you the envelopes, OR you can make a card box inexpensively if you choose to...and then use it again for the wedding!

i had one and we left it on the gift table, just dont put the gift able near a door. Someone can walk away with it.

Thats a fine idea, I wish we did something like that cause all our cards I just stuck them in another gift bag....... I don't think theres a rule about it

thanks girls...i think i might decorate a basket (thanks little34!) or just hold them myself or have someone else trustworthy hold them. but we will have a gift table

hahahaa thats what i thought so i decided not to get one. I just got a satin bag from acmoore and put the cards in it.

we didnt have one, people gave me the cards directly to put with my purse, and there was an area where presents were set up
