so i already posted pics but I thought I would add a review b/c we used some vendors that other girls are considering/have used...
LOCATION: Family backyard on the water - Bellmore A+
It was an amazing day and the weather was perfect... no rain and not too hot!

DJ - my IPOD! A+
The house had outside speakers all around the backyard so we hooked up the ipod inside and it played both inside and out! We made a playlist and everyone loved it :)

table/chair rentals - WEST SIDE PARTY RENTALS - C
Originally my tables, chairs, umbrellas and linens were supposed to be delivered on Friday so that we could set up the day before the party. Well I got a call from Frank on Friday AM that they were short delivery people and couldnt get the rentals to the house until 12 PM Saturday, the Day OF! I was like NONONONO... they MUST be there by 10. Frank said OK! Well 10 came and went, the rentals didnt show up until 1:15 the day of and the party began at 4. We had little time to setup!

Hair/Makeup - MAXIMUS in Merrick
Hair - C
Makeup - B+
I wouldnt go back there for hair or makeup. It just wasnt what I wanted, and the makeup was barely visible though Deb who did the makeup was a sweetheart and tried very hard. She hardlyl used any face makeup, concealor etc. I had to put face makeup on when I get home before the party.
My hair was not at all what I wanted, Elana was the girls name. She was more concerned about lunch than my hair. I could tell she was talented, but she just didnt care and my hair was nothing like what I wanted![]()
I DO NOT recommend Maximus in Merrick for hair/makeup.

Favors - Personalized M&MS, Oriental Trading - A
They were adorable and everyone loved them.
Boxes were from Oriental Trading and everyone thought they were the cutest things on this planet!

Invites - Target!! A+ Very cute! They did the trick, We didnt need anything special since it was a backyard shindig.

Dress and Shoes - MACYS! B+
Loved my dress and shoes at first sight, but now I think I would have gone with something more 'summery' and the shoes were not at all comfortable by 2 am - eventhough they were flats.

The food was AWESOME! Came right on time and it was hot, ready to serve...

Cake - Waldbaums![]()

I was a little bit hesitant about getting a sheet cake from a food store but it was great. I recommend the chocolate with raspberry filling! Everyone loved it!

Flowers - DIY CP flowers from NUMA's in Wantagh A+
The flowers were my favorite part of the decoration and everyone loved them. People were fighting to take them home at the end of the night![]()
Vases - Michaels - A+
Cant beat $2!!![]()
