Hi. My eparty was 7/7 and it was simply superb.
Venue - Shandon Court, East Islip - No complaints whatsoever. The food was excellent and plentiful; the liquor was flowing. The tables were set nicely and we had our choice of linens. The bathroom was close by? I dont know, what else makes for a good venue? The staff was pleasant and helpful. Oh, and a girl I graduated with worked there so they didnt charge us sales tax.
DJ - Some guy named Jeff that my dad knew. He was great and a bargain!
Centerpieces - These were so lovely, I wonder who made them? OH wait, I did! I must be very talented. Anyhow, I got the stuff at michaels to make them and it was only $75 to make 10 centerpieces.
Favors - my FMIL baked cookies and they were good, as evidence by the fact that I gained 2 pounds since friday.
Dress - Ann Taylor loft in bayshore - ANDDDD I had a 20% off coupon. How can you beat that? I bought FH's apparal at kohls and I must say, I have excellent taste.
Crashers - two hoes crashed my party. I think theyre on here - Bemyyoko and Kellybean? Two real big sluts, if I do say so myself!![]()
Anyway, a great time had by all!

The Venue was EXCELLENT. seriously, if it werent so far away i'd want my rehersal dinner there. LOOVED IT. the food was good, the service was wonderful, and the bartender was super awesome.
Your dress was fabulous!! seriously, love it. Tom's attire wasnt too bad either.
The dj played a lot of beatles music, this made me happy. Even though you did call my first dance song gay.![]()
The favors... I don't think i can really say because apparently i took a favor that was already opened and the one cookie that was left had a bite taken out of it! OOOOPS. however, i had some of Kelly's cookies and OMG they were awesome. Can you bake some for me??

Not REALLY. I said that A Whole New World was our first dance song when it came on and everyone pretended to feel bad for making fun of it after i said that but you were like 'GAY!!' and i cracked up b/c it's totally not my song.
Ok so we all had alot of wine .....but kerry the song is gay LOL ................

SHANDON COURT..............That is where we booked our rehearsal dinner!!! What made you choose there for the e-party? We love going there for dinner and then it just clicked, we are getting married at Irish Coffe Pub, lets have an Irish themed weekend and have the rehearsal dinner at Shandon Court!
We basically picked it b/c i live, literally, 2 blocks away. It was great!
You should check it out on a Friday or Saturday night if Gerry Finlay (the owner) and the Cara Band are playing. It is a much older crowd, but the music is awesome, especially if you like Irish pub songs!
