The invites were sent out about 2 weeks ago and today is the RSVP date. I have only heard back from about 30 people and we invited around 100.
The party is one month from today but myself, FH and his parents are planning and cooking everything so we needed to give ourselves time to prepare. We basically only have the weekends to get everything done and ready for the party....
Im just annoyed that people havent responded...i dont even mind if you cant make it. I know the summer is a busy time but at least respond, ya know?
Am I over-reacting?

Re: Eparty RSVP vent
2 weeks notice is not a lot, especially this time of year when many people go on vacation etc.
I would start calling those who have not RSVP'd by next week. You can still start buying paper goods and other items, and always return some if you wind up with less guests than you anticipated.
It does stink, but I wouldnt stress yet.

I'd suggest the same thing. Try calling them. I can understand your frustration, I think only one of my friends so far responded for our engagement party which is 1 month away! They have another week to RSVP before we start calling them!!

I sent them 2 weeks ago....the RSVP date is today (June 30) and the party is (July30). We already bought the paper goods, its more the food, tents and chair/table rentals that are on hold.
I will start calling by the middle of next week if I dont get responses.

I completely feel your pain and trust me you're not over-reacting at all. I'd wait a few more days and then start contacting everyone.

I went through the same thing...we gave people a month to reply and still had to call around 30pp
You are not overreacting at all. I felt teh same way when this happened to our party and it was in February! Just divy up the list and start tracking people down...and don't hesistate to make them feel a little bad for not having the courtesy to RSVP!

Re: Eparty RSVP vent
I had sent out invites and no one called to rsvp. So I made a FB event and they all replied to that. People are just so damn lazy. Not looking forward to when I mail the invites out.

I went through this for our eparty too. FHs side of the family never RSVP. I had no clue how many people were showing up the day of the party. FH and his parents refused to call any of them! They said they don't ever RSVP. Urghh.....the stress!!!

Deal! LOL
Well we have about 75% of the responses. The ones who havent responded are irresponsible cousins and some family members that are probably just busy. I will give them a few more days then Im just counting them out! LOL

I had the same exact situation for our e party ... My parents paid for everything and we had no choice but to expect they were coming then only 2 people from his family (besides his parents) came and we had so much extra food and empty tables. I have told FH and his family that this cannot happen at the wedding ... even if I have to call them myself and hassle them!
