ok.. so im still waiting for my ring.. my boyrfriend planned on asking me early this month but now i think its not gonna happen till the begining of april. hes leaving in june for rhode island (to train for his deployment in sept) i wanted to have an eparty before he left... do you think that that is enough time to plan one?? for like end of may??

Hey kristin,
I am doing my e-party in June. And I just scheduled it last Thurs. And I didn't even book the DJ as of yet--- I think you will have plenty of time..
go for it....I wanted to have mine before FH left for Japan June 28th...and I am fitting it in...and not stressed with time at all...

My eparty is May 19th.....and all I have done is book the hall Ohhh, and I bought invitations....just havent done anything with them. Totally slacking....hopefully I wont be like this when it comes to the wedding!

At my dads fire house. Do you believe someone tried to steal my date after we already had it reserved!!!! Our eparty is during communion time and someone took our name off the calendar!!! But nothing gets in the way of me and my wedding planning

That is too funny Michelle. I would have been so mad and I would definitely make sure that my date was staying as it was....no communioun will come in the way of our weddings!!!
But well...good thing you were able to keep that date...is that a saturday?? Are you having it at night or during the day???

Yeah, its a Saturday. We are having it at night. Not too sure on the time yet. We are going to pick a time when we book a dj....another thing we are slacking on!!

no dont invite everyone that you are inviting to the wedding...But everyone you invite to the e-party you have to also invite to the wedding

I am inviting my immediate family- FH and my aunts and uncles and which ever first cousins are invited to the wedding- not having little kids at my wedding so alot of my aunts and uncles will be coming ot e-party without their children! |
But thats the way FH and I wanted it. And we are also inviting some friends (not alot though) most of our very close friends are in the bridal party so they are invited and then just inviting a few others friends who we are close with...
I have a big family...my immediate family only is 50 people then FH's family is about another 15 and then our friends-- to many people we invited hehe we didn't want to do anything to big!!!

its usually family and close friends...so out of your friends obviously pick your bridal party and then a few friends you are very close to...basically whoever you feel closest to you can invite
