Marriage license DONE! Super quick and easy. I will admit I got a little misty when I wrote my new last name, but I did it quick like ripping off a band aid lol.

When it came to that section, I told FH it was optional. He informed me it was optional for everyone else but me. He's lucky he's cute.

I don't remember this either. The clerk said to sign my current name at the bottom of the license. I remember there was a spot at the top for the optional last name. The clerk said I had to fill it out if I wanted to change my last name, even if it was 20 years from now.
