I feel stupid writing this but I need advice. I have epic sched for tommorow and totally want to bail. I was supposed to take them last week but I got a really bad stomach virus so I rescheduled them for this wednesday. Just so happens I have a really ugly pimple that I picked to death and is now a red bloody scab next to my eyebrow. Thats not even the bad embarrassing story. FH gave me a big hicky on the side of my neck that is in plain view. That is so embarrassing, I don't remember the last time I had one, maybe I was like 16??? How trashy am I?? And the timing is just perfect. What should I do? It would be really bad to cancel again. Sorry about the TMI but I need advice. Any quick fixes out there?

Go to a make-up counter at a store or salon and have them apply make-up to the pimple and hickey.

Cover up and they will always touchup your pics no??
Otherwise if you are really that uncomfortable just reschedule...you are paying for it. Might as well be happy with it.

i wouldn't reschedule. just cover it with make up and they will touch up your pics.

YOU can cover up the hickey and also make sure to tell your photographer to edit it in pics in case it comes out slightly

Okay thanks every1. It's not terribly bad, its just scattered broken blood vessels. I'm just freaking out about any little thing. Nothing can ever go smoothly in my life.

Is it possible to try and cover them up?? Also take a toothbrush and in a circular motion with water brush the hickey! It sounds funny but has worked fo me. LOL!
. Lightly brush the spot with a stiff-bristled toothbrush. Doing this breaks up the blood clot and gets circulation going again. 2. The redness will spread, but will be less obvious after about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, make sure to cool it down with a bit of ice. Repeat if necessary. 3. Finish off the small pink spot that remains with make up: put yellow eyeshadow or other eyeshadow that matches your skin tone, to the spot and cover the rest (with the hickey too) with concealer. No one will ever notice!
* Sometimes if you add a bit of toothpaste to the brush, it will help clear up any redness faster.

What part of your neck is it on? Would be be possible to cover it with a collared-type shirt...like a button down, if its on the side of your neck? Or what if you wore a thicker type , multi-strand necklace....?? OR you could always get some good cover-up and that'll do the trick! If it comes out at all in the photos, they will photoshop it for you, im sure.

If it were me I'd reschedule....there is no hurry, and you want to be as comfortable as possible, not worry about how you look or feel.
