Couldn't agree more....What a CRAZY episode!!! WOW!!!!
ps - I hate to say it, but I am glad Romano is dead!

Im not glad he is dead at all. Although most of you didnt like him, you have to agree with me that he was a good actor, and he made the show more interesting than it was with out him....They should of gotten rid of the other lady instead...the one with the cane....Is her name Kerri, the short red haired lady...I cannot stand her.

It seems that all the good characters are leaving the show....ER needed this episode bad because im sure the ratings were through the roof, but I dont see it lasting. Usually when shows get new characters, or lose old characters things dont last very long after...or the show goes down hill.

It wasnt a good day for Dr Romano. I think he should of called in sick. First he has to go up to the heli pad.....then he catches the red head smoking pot, and then he gets crushed by a helicopter.....and dies....

Can you only imagine what was going through his head when he heard the explosion, looked up and realized that this was his last moment alive.....I know its just a show...but can you imagine what you would be thinking if that was about to happen to you? I dont know what I would be thinking, but that has to be a really nasty way to die.....and pretty ironic for him to have to do like that.

I actually didn't see the episode, but I heard about it.

I think I'm alone on this, but Dr. Romano was my favorite character...since his accident he was a bitter SOB, but I still liked him

I was hoping that he and Dr. Corday would end up together!

Oh well!

WHenever I tell anyone that I he was my favorite character...I get total shock...it's as if I commited a horrible sin by saying that!

DH said 'Well, that's it - we can't watch the show anymore' - He loved Romano too!! I think he was so mean he was funny sometimes, but, I felt like if there was someone who was that bad, wouldn't they end up being fired?

Romano was the best character on the show. This show needed a good a-hole to keep things interesting, and he was perfect!

This was the best episode in years. I really thought the nail was in the coffin for this show for a long time, but it's actually getting really good again. I still do not like the story line with Carter at all. I mean what's with NBC and sending doctors to different countries? Will and Grace and now this?

I also think he was one of the best characters on the show. He made it funny and you could hate him but love him all at the same time! My son and I were watching together and even though I knew they were killing him off (my son didn't) I was still furious!!!! Couldn't they just have him get fired or something so maybe he could come back? Grrrrrrr!

ER has been one of several shows that has survived many major character overhuals through the years .. think back to the beginning, and how many comings and goings there have been .. there's been tons .. and the show still has its following.

While there are many characters I'm not that interested in with this show .. I still find the show interesting.

As for Romano .. I think his mean character added a bit of reality .. how many of us have a real SOB we work with??? And the turn-over in cast of characters is another bit of reality .. people come and go at jobs in real life.

With Carter .. I wish he'd get back already. He's basically one of the few characters I still had much interest in .. but from what I had heard, his appearances were going to be limited this year so he could spend more time with his family.

i love this show and i will watch it until they stop showing the reruns!!! it's such an emotional show for me - i cry during almost every episode!!!
and i have to say that i will miss romano ont he show - but i can appreciate that some actors want to leave the show and i can appreciate that some actors have to be sacrificed for the good of the show!!
i wanted him to get together with Dr. Corday also.....that would have been so sweet. might have changed him completely!!

Kel glad you posted this--because it is soooo tue so many of my favorites have left but then someone else moves right into that spot--that is one of the reasons I love the show so much

I think it was too much to have his arm chopped off by a helicopter and then his life taken by one.

I think there are a lot of doctors that are just like him (NOT our LIW Docs though) and I liked his 'love' for Lizzy, which I always thought added a bit of a human side to him.

Did you guys know that he is the gay guy from Fame?

John Carter will be back in a week or so. He took off because his wife had a baby.
